We are a non profit organization that aims to get youth at risk of poverty and new immigrants struggling financially gain meaningful employment so they are able to get back on their feet. Unlike other agencies, we cater to the specific needs of the individual rather than simply running a mass resume workshop. We have drop in sessions at the Ottawa Library, and we have partnerships with Dress for Success Ottawa, and Suits His Style and many other local businesses help us better provide for our clients’ needs.
Regardless of where you are in your employment journey, we can help. Our drop in and workshop services include getting government identification, setting up bank accounts, searching for job opportunities, writing resumes and cover letters, practising for interviews, getting professional clothing, and more! Everyone is welcome.
Check out our schedule and come join us at the Main branch of the Ottawa Public Library on Wednesdays from 4:00-6:30 pm for a personalized employment session tailored to your needs. Our volunteers will be happy to help with resumes, interview skills and more!
Can’t make a drop in session? We offer regular workshops at community partner locations including the Ottawa Mission and St. Joe’s Church too so you can come in for the same personalized assistance. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates in our schedule.
